Much of my background has been in training artists for MAC Cosmetics, making lessons and courses a bit of a speciality of mine and one of my favourite services. Fun, relaxed, and a brilliant way to learn, there are a few options available:
Makeup Lesson
Suitable for any ability, makeup lessons are a great way to experiment, learn and gain confidence in how you choose and apply your makeup, and crack any of those tricky steps that never seem to quite go right.
In the makeup lesson we'll work on half of the face each, and explore up a couple of looks. I'll coach you through every step of the way, explaining what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and then when it comes to your turn, walk you through how to replicate that look yourself.
A makeup lesson usually lasts around two to three hours, and after we're finished I'll also draw up a list of every product we've used, along with links for where to buy them, plus you'll receive a bespoke, step-by-step visual guide to help you remember the specifics and hone your skills in the future. All levels welcome!
One-to-One Makeup Courses
One-to-one makeup courses are ideal for aspiring makeup artists of any ability, or anyone looking to improve and become more knowledgeable and skilful over time.
Spread over multiple days of lessons that are scheduled around you, you'll get the full range of my experience as a MAC Resident Trainer, learning a variety of looks and advanced skills throughout, just like you were on a MAC Basic Training or Advanced Cert course yourself.
DIY Bridal Lesson
Ideal for the destination bride, or just giving yourself an extra sense of pride on the day, DIY Bride sessions are a great way to feel confident doing it yourself.
As with the makeup lesson (and the full service) we'll take plenty of time to work through your look step-by-step, taking extra care to make sure you're happy with your makeup well in advance, and confident in applying it from scratch on the day - plus, we'll make sure you know how to make any touch-ups on the go!
A full products list and bespoke visual guide are of course included.
